With over 40 years of progressive experience in the public and private sectors, Marie Campagna has driven a strong track record of results, execution excellence, and improved operational efficiency while supporting patient care/client needs and the values of the organization. Her career has been rooted in finance and operational support and spanned many sectors including healthcare, automotive, logistics and pharmaceuticals.
She joined Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare in 2012 and served as the Vice President Corporate Services, New Business Development and Chief Financial Officer until her retirement in June 2021. In this role, Marie provided strategic leadership to Finance, Contract Management, Procurement, Information Technology, Strategy & Planning, Research, New Business Development, Risk Management, Facilities and Hospitality Services.
Marie holds a CPA (CMA) designation, a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Windsor, and is a Fellow and life member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. In June 2015, she successfully completed the Directors Education Program and achieved her ICD.D designation. Marie has also earned the CHE (Certified Health Executive) designation from the Canadian College of Health Leaders.
In addition to her career roles, Marie has held a number of governance positions in a variety of organizations. Currently, she is the Board Chair of Essex Energy Corporation, Board Member & Chair of the Audit Committee of the Windsor Detroit Bridge Authority, Past Chair of Transform Shared Services Organization and a Board Member of the Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce. Marie has also held many board and committee positions with Essex Power Corporation, CMA Ontario and CMA Canada over the past 20 years.
Marie enjoys reading, walking, yoga and cooking during her recreation time. The loves of her life are her 3 grandchildren, Ella, Austin and Aaron.
